Brief Introduction of Dr.Brundaban Nahak
Dr. Brundaban Nahak (M.Lib, B.Lib, B.A, LLB, PGDCA, CIC, Ph.D in Lib & Inf.Sc),bnahak@yahoo.com,bnahak@gmail.com. Mr.Brundaban Nahak is currently working as the Librarian at Radhakrishna Institute of Engineering and Technology (RITE), Khurdha,Bhubaneswar,-7542057.He has 25 years of professional experience in various libraries .He has passed M.Lib and Inf.Sc .Besides he has obtained LLB from Berhampur University, Odisha .He has completed PGDCA from CORENET, Bhubaneswar. He ha published one book and three edited books.He is Doctor in Philosophy(LIS) Ph.D from Berhampur University ,Odisha .He has written 131 research papers for national, international journals and conferences.He has also attended many seminars, workshops and conferences. He was involved in managing the national journal “ASBM journal of management “ and one of the editor of "The Techno Talk " quarterly Newsletters , Radhakrishna Institute of Technology & Engineering(RITE), Bhubaneswar. He is the life member of ILA and MANLIBNET, JILA, OLA, Online LIS-FOURUM, NMLIS & MLOSC . Under his successful guidance 01 M.Lib& Inf.Sc student and one M.Phil in Library and Information Science scholar completed her dissertation. One B.Lib and Inf.Sc student completed her project report respectively.He has immense experience in managing electronic databases and has been an advisor on information resources to management faculty on several management projects. His areas of interests are library administration, information management, library automation, digital library and e-resources.
